Located on Roosevelt Avenue, Wood Street and Parkway Boulevard
Lincoln Park was built in the 1940s and for many years, accommodated approximately 25 children on the double bump slide, swing set and small play structure.
In June 2008, Bring On Play hosted Design Day with 40 neighborhood children. The youth's drawings were used to develop the plans for a renovated Lincoln Park.
In May 2009, more than 150 volunteers renovated Lincoln Park by adding toddler and youth play structures to accommodate 100 children at a time. A new walking/bike trail around the park promotes additional physical activity opportunities for children and adults.
Today, Lincoln Park is one of the most visited playgrounds within the city. It is one of the host sites for the City of York's Summer Playground program.
