Healthy Eating

We live in a busy world: we work long hours, we rush to get our children to various activities, and we end our days working at home. Unfortunately, all this makes it very challenging for us to make and eat nutritious meals.  

We believe that there are three reasons that people do not eat regular nutritious meals:

  1. ​​​Lack of knowledge 
  2. Lack of time
  3. Lack of access
​​​Through education we can help everyone understand why we should eat certain foods, what foods we should eat, how we can acquire and prepare healthy foods.  Education programs and resources provide the answers to these questions.  Check out Nutrition for Everyone, a resource from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for a basic overview about healthy eating.
